Context
Why this mapping exists
The Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (AITSL, 2017 reaffirmed) are 37 focus areas across 7 standards, organised into 3 domains. Every Australian state and territory regulatory body — VIT, NESA, QCT, TRBSA, TRBWA, TQI, TRBNT, TASC — uses these standards as the reference framework for teacher registration maintenance.
The lever for any PD provider: if a course's modules cite specific APST descriptors by code (Standard.focus-area), every state body accepts those hours toward registration maintenance without a prior provider-accreditation step. There is no centralised gatekeeper for short-form PD — the gatekeeping happens at the teacher's annual log, and the descriptor codes are what unlock it.
This page is the source of truth that lets every teacher who completes the EasyStagecraft Course transcribe descriptor codes plus hours directly into their annual or cycle PD log — without re-typing, without negotiation.

Reading the grid: coloured rows indicate descriptors that EasyStagecraft Course addresses. Standards 3, 4, 6, and 7 carry the heaviest coverage — these are where production management as a discipline sits. Standards 1 and 5 are deliberately light because the course is teacher PD, not classroom-pedagogy training.
